Description: The Parish of Saint Peter Martyr of Verona, covers a large riverside area where the favelas of Santa Cruz dos Milagres are located, as well as the community of Maruim Island formed by low-income residents. With Ansa donation, they bought construction material and completed the construction of the community parish hall that is used for professional training (painting, handicrafts, vocal, school reinforcement, hygiene classes, as well as religious, civic, and moral catechesis). It is known that access to a cultural space with its pedagogical activities contributes to prevent young people from getting involved in drugs and prostitution.
